Owning a dog can be quite complicated and feeding them can be even more complicated. Nosh them too much, they will get fat and could develop some serious health problems, nosh them too little, they will turn out to be foragers and eat whatever that looks tasty.

Several dogs don’t have any limit to eat and just simply keeps eating until they get sick and in no way will ever turn down anything tasty. Hence, it is very important that all the necessary nutrients must be added in your dog’s diets which are proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fats. Proteins are very important to develop fit and healthy muscles, hair, nails, cartilage, ligaments and organs.

Where as, carbohydrates provides fibers and energy that assists in proper digestion of your dog. While vitamins are necessary, for good vision, bone growth and for the body’s metabolism plus minerals are necessary for strong teeth and bones. Apart, fats contain essential fatty acids that provide a shiny coat and healthy skin and tremendous amount of energy. However, all these nutrients must be given in right amount and quantity for a diet to be nutritionally balanced and complete.

Along with feeding the right food, there are some dos and don’ts while feeding your pooches. They are,

-Dairy products might not be the right choice for your pooches  Though, it is true that cheese and milk are good sources of fats and proteins, but they can give birth to diarrhea and dogs could develop intolerance just akin to us.

-For dogs fat scraps is not at all healthy Fat scraps, may perhaps help the dogs coat shine but too much fat may make the dog chubby and over weight and could also create pancreatic diseases plus diarrhea as well. Make it possible that your dog must get ample amount of fat from the dog food only.

-Don’t restrict your dog water intakeA dog can dehydrate very easily, and your dog requires ample amount of water. So, never limit your dog’s water intake and if urination is a quandary inside the house, then provide your dog a room or a crate that is simple to clean.

-Avoid feeding your dog the food and water combined dishesAs some of the dishes are bound to end up in water and further which may create a haven for bacteria augmentation. Therefore, if your dog doesn’t have the table mannerisms, such kind of food should be avoided.

-Excess of liver for your dog could be harmfulLiver consists of myriad nutritional components, and hence a daily diet full of liver could cause vitamin A or D toxicity and sometimes diarrhea as well.

-the fat, obese dogs should not feeded from a dish which is placed on the floor
Place the dog food bowl on a stand or a table so that the meal is at some height and as a result your dog would gulp a lesser amount of air and will have a more satisfying eating experience.

-Don't merge the quality of foodDo not mix and match dry dog food to a high quality canned dog food that is not manufactured by the same company.

-Do not coach your pooches to beg Dogs are trained to plead, either purposely or for any other mean and giving table scraps to dogs will just edify them to ask more and the more frequent you will listen to your dog’s request, the much your lovely pooch will ask for.

Akin to humans dogs too need proper care and diet to live fit and healthy, therefore make sure to take proper care of your lovely pets.
